Excelsior Nest Box Pads for Hens provide comfort for your hens while providing a soft and clean substrate that cradles their eggs to help minimize rolling which can lead to cracks and breaks. Excelsior nest box pads help draw moisture down and away from the hen to help maintain a more sanitary nesting surface. The excelsior fibers are adhered to a paper backing that helps maintain its shape, so the pads are easily inserted and removed from nest boxes. Manufactured from Great Lakes aspen excelsior fibers and brown kraft paper. Excelsior fibers are 100% biodegradable and made in the USA.

Directions: Place one pad, kraft paper side down, inside each nest box and use fingers to fluff excelsior to desired depth. Excelsior can be scrunched or stretched to adapt to the nest box shape and size. To freshen, remove nest pad from nesting box, shake to remove debris. Replace as needed.
