Nest Box Queen’s Bulk Excelsior Bedding is made from 100% aspen excelsior fibers that help you create a soft yet supportive nest to provide both comfort for hens and protection for eggs. Excelsior bedding is easy to work with and can be quickly made to fit any nest box size or shape.

To use, simply add a few handfuls of excelsior bedding to your nesting boxes. With your fingers, pull and fluff the excelsior fibers to fill out the nesting area while creating the desired thickness. Pull out excess excelsior bedding or add more as needed to create the desired nest.
