Aspen Nesting Material — Natural Comfort for Your Coop

Give your hens a soft, inviting place to lay with all-natural aspen excelsior. Made in the USA from Great Lakes Aspen, these curled wood fibers fluff into a cushioned nesting layer that helps keep eggs elevated and easy to collect.

One compact package. Plenty of possibilities.

• Covers up to 20 nest boxes: Fluff and distribute the compressed fibers to create comfortable nests throughout your coop.

• Lines approximately 20 square feet: Use as a fluffy coop floor liner—enough for a 4′ × 5′ area—to add a barrier between your flock and the floor.

• Makes egg gathering easier: Eggs rest on the fibers instead of becoming buried in loose bedding. Add a little to your egg basket for extra cushioning, too.

• Expands up to 5 times its compressed size: Convenient to store until you’re ready to use it.

• Durable fibers, simple cleanup: The interlocking fibers hold together, making soiled material easy to lift out in sections and replace.

• Naturally versatile: Also great for cushioning fragile items, filling gift baskets, seasonal decorating, and arts and crafts.

Made in the USA using aspen sourced from forest product companies that participate in sustainable forestry programs.

Coverage varies depending on nest box dimensions, bedding depth, and how thoroughly the fibers are fluffed. Check bedding regularly and replace when wet or soiled.
